Finding a parking spot has overtaken traffic jams as the number one headache for Hungarian motorists, with 72% pinpointing it as their biggest driving frustration, ahead of congestion (57%) and rule-breaking drivers (56%), according to a fresh survey of Simple app users.

The hunt proves the real killer: 71% call daytime parking searches their least pleasant ordeal, followed by fees and vehicle damage fears. Filling up or sorting insurance barely register as stressors, while just 6.7% lose sleep over fines.

Location splits tell the tale: home parking relatively painless for 50%+ of Hungarian drivers, workplaces a nightmare. Yet 52% ditch cars for public transport when viable, and 24% always would.

Simple’s new Android Auto integration lets drivers manage parking sessions and buy highway vignettes straight from the dashboard, no phone fiddling required. After pairing, the app joins the car’s native interface for seamless start/stop payments.
