ALDI is reopening one of its most frequented stores, the Báthory Street location in Budapest’s 5th district, situated just steps from the Parliament Building and Kossuth Square, after a complete refurbishment designed.
As part of the redesign, the chain has implemented a simpler and more intuitive shopping route, placing fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat products at the very front of the store. In addition to the familiar open produce displays, refrigerated units have been installed for items such as salads, mushrooms, and packaged pickles.
The popular in-store bakery remains a core attraction, now operating from opening until closing with 54 types of sweet and savory baked goods prepared fresh several times throughout the day. Alongside, ALDI continues to offer more than 50 packaged bakery products, including gluten-free options, cakes, and pastries.
The store’s complete furniture renewal creates a brighter, tidier atmosphere and enhances customer flow. While the design and interior are new, Báthory Street’s strength remains unchanged: easy accessibility on foot, by bicycle, and via multiple public transport lines.
