Consumers are becoming increasingly tech-savvy and quality-conscious, with a sharp rise in like-new device listings on Rejoy.hu, a platform for refurbished electronics. According to recent data, most secondhand phones, laptops, tablets, and smartwatches submitted by individual sellers in 2025 were evaluated to be in near-perfect condition.

Rejoy’s quality control team reports that the majority of devices submitted by Hungarian sellers required minimal intervention beyond inspection – allowing sellers to unlock the highest available payout rates.

What’s selling: Flagship phones and M1 MacBooks

Topping this year’s resale charts is iPhone 13, the most traded model on the platform, commanding prices between 80,000–100,000 HUF, followed by Samsung Galaxy S22, the top Android listing.

On laptops category, MacBook Air with M1 chip five-year-old models are still fetching 180,000–200,000 HUF, thanks to software compatibility and battery life. Many sellers are also parting with Intel-based MacBooks from just 2–3 years ago.

Apple Watch Series 8 and SE models, only 2–3 years old, are regularly sold for 60,000–70,000 HUF, as 10-inch iPads from 4–6 years ago are the most frequently listed tablets, typically earning sellers around 100,000–110,000 HUF.
