Waberer’s International Nyrt., a logistics company listed in the Premium category of the Budapest Stock Exchange, has officially entered the passenger transport sector with the acquisition of a 51% stake in Pannon-Busz-Rent Kft.
As part of the agreement, Waberer’s has also secured a call option to acquire the remaining 49% of the company by 2027, positioning itself for full ownership in the coming years. The deal, first announced in February, was finalized on May 26.

Pannon-Busz-Rent specializes in employee shuttle services, rail replacement transport, and charter bus operations. Its clients span industrial and agricultural sectors, as well as public transport authorities, offering Waberer’s a new revenue stream with strong cross-sector potential.
Looking ahead, Waberer’s has ambitious investment plans to support its strategic transformation. The company intends to allocate at least EUR 400 million between 2025 and 2030 toward expansion and innovation across its logistics and transportation portfolio.
With over 75 years of experience, Waberer’s operates a modern fleet of 2,800 trucks and manages 250,000 square meters of state-of-the-art warehouse space, making it one of the largest logistics capacities in the region.
