Westend Mall in Budapest has shattered new ground as Hungary’s first shopping center to roll out a proptech-driven digital platform for leasing advertising and promotional spaces.

Developed in-house by Westend’s B2B and Innovation Center teams, the online booking system, mirrors the simplicity of everyday e-commerce reservations, and lets external tenants snag ad spots or promo areas with just a few clicks under fully visible terms.

The platform tackles a chronic pain point in retail real estate: endless email chains, manual haggling and paperwork delays that bog down deals. It cuts administrative drag, accelerates decisions and ramps up operational agility.

Westend Mall’s ambitions run deeper: full digitization of the leasing lifecycle, from inquiry to activation, positioning the shopping center as a tech-forward leader in Central European retail.
