Budapest is getting a new kind of late-night convenience as foodora and Manna ABC launch a strategic partnership that will make groceries, ready meals and everyday household products available for delivery 24 hours a day.
The agreement marks foodora’s first 24-hour food and grocery delivery service in Budapest. Ten Manna ABC stores selected across the Hungarian capital will serve the new service, giving foodora’s nearly 250,000 active Budapest users access to products around the clock.
Foodora already allows Budapest customers to order food around the clock. The partnership with Manna ABC extends that model to groceries and household essentials. Customers can now order products that would traditionally require a trip to a convenience store or supermarket, even during the overnight hours.
That includes food, ready meals and basic household products, turning the foodora platform into something closer to an always-open digital convenience store. The business model fits into the broader Quick Commerce or Q-Commerce trend, where the main selling point is not simply online ordering but speed and convenience.
Manna ABC turns its physical network into a digital distribution system
The Budapest-based chain describes itself as a 24/7 grocery network and currently lists 16 locations across the capital. Most are positioned in central areas or business districts, while some operate within major office developments.
Individual stores operate continuously, including the Manna ABC location at Agora, which is open from midnight to midnight every day. The physical stores provide inventory that is already positioned close to customers and available throughout the night.
