The acquisition of eight retail parks in Poland has propelled Shopper Park Plus to record first-half earnings. The company reported after-tax profit of EUR 43.4 million for the first six months of 2026, an increase of EUR 28.2 million compared with the same period last year.

The sharp improvement was driven primarily by the integration of the newly acquired Polish portfolio and a EUR 22.9 million fair-value revaluation gain recognised following the transaction.

Rental income surges after Polish acquisition

Rental income climbed 56% year-on-year to EUR 23.5 million, reflecting the addition of eight retail parks in Poland, which generated EUR 5.4 million in rental income after being consolidated from March.

The acquisition significantly reshaped Shopper Park Plus’ portfolio. The company now owns 30 retail parks across Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, with a combined gross leasable area exceeding 600,000 square metres.

The newly acquired Polish portfolio comprises eight retail parks anchored primarily by Auchan hypermarkets and was independently valued at more than EUR 210 million, making it the largest transaction completed by Shopper Park Plus since its stock market listing.
