Diverzum has surpassed 100,000 registered users in Romania less than a year after entering the local market. Its Romanian users have already saved more than €235,000 through the offers available on the app, while the company has worked with more than 50 partner brands since launch.
Diverzum has also established partnerships with 10 student organizations across Romania’s main university centres. The company is now aiming for another significant increase before the end of the year, targeting approximately 150,000 registered users in Romania by the end of 2026.
Its Romanian portfolio now includes brands from transportation, food delivery, fashion, beauty, fitness, healthcare, education and digital services. Partners include Uber, BCR, Cartofisserie, Buzz, Sport Vision, FlixBus, Popeyes and Flip.ro, among others.
Diverzum wants to turn Gen Z access into a business tool
Behind the student discounts sits another part of Diverzum’s business proposition. The company provides brands with access to an identifiable Gen Z audience and information about how younger consumers respond to products, promotions and marketing campaigns.
Companies can use campaigns conducted through the platform to test offers, measure interest in new initiatives and collect feedback directly from users. That potentially makes Diverzum more than a discount marketplace.
For partner brands, it can function as a customer acquisition, communication and market-intelligence channel focused specifically on a generation that is becoming increasingly important to consumer businesses.
