Tech at your doorstep: Wolt and MediaMarkt expand delivery across Hungary

Wolt app now offers access to nearly 4,000 MediaMarkt products, with new additions being made regularly - from small accessories to more advanced tech devices

After a successful two-month pilot in Budapest, Wolt and MediaMarkt are scaling up their collaboration across Hungary. As of mid-June, customers can order electronics from 40 MediaMarkt stores via the Wolt app or website, with delivery times as fast as 35 minutes.

The first product ordered was a Xiaomi wireless earbud set, and the most expensive item so far was a Sony headphone priced close to HUF 90,000. One customer placed four orders totaling nearly HUF 370,000 within just a few weeks.

Among the most frequently purchased products were aftermarket lightning cables for iPhones, travel-friendly USB drives, lightweight LED wireless mice. In terms of product categories, the most popular were batteries and chargers, bluetooth speakers, headphones and earphones.

The data shows that consumers often need quick, last-minute solutions – like replacing a charger at work or grabbing a speaker before a party. Orders have also included oscillating fans, gaming controllers, and even Pokémon battle toys.

MediaMarkt’s selection is accessible via Wolt in cities such as Debrecen, Miskolc, Szeged, Pécs, Szombathely, Győr, Nyíregyháza, Kecskemét, Tatabánya, and others.
