Despite a slowing Italian credit market and falling mortgage applications nationwide, Credipass, the Italian subsidiary of Duna House, continued to accelerate its growth, mediating more than €450 million in loans in the first quarter of 2026.

Over the past two years, Credipass’s total mediated volume has risen by more than 60%. The growth touched all of Credipass’s main business lines, even in a macroeconomic environment marked by high interest rates, growing household caution and a general slowdown in credit demand.

Thus, mortgages grew by 20 percent, CQS (credit solutions for businesses) registered a +16% growth, personal loans: +26%, corporate financing: +30%, and medioinsurance (insurance products): +27%.

According to the CRIF Barometer, new mortgage applications in Italy fell 12.4% in Q1 2026. In that context, Credipass significantly outperformed the market as its new mortgage applications rose 22%. March data reinforced the positive trend, while the national market dropped 15%, Credipass achieved 31% growth in new applications.
