International brand Dodo Pizza has officially signed an agreement to enter the Hungarian market, marking a new step in its expansion across Central and Eastern Europe, after Poland, Romania, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
Dodo Pizza will enter Hungary through a partnership with the founders of Pizza Me, one of the country’s most established pizza chains. Over the past 12 years, Pizza Me has grown into a market-leading brand with more than 30 locations.
The first Dodo Pizza restaurants in Hungary are expected to open before autumn 2026. The company aims to launch around 10 locations within the first three years, with a long-term ambition of reaching approximately 30 restaurants nationwide.
The first Budapest locations will serve as flagship stores, showcasing Dodo Pizza’s core offering, including handcrafted pizzas, appetisers, and desserts made with fresh ingredients, Eran Friedman, Dodo Pizza master franchisee in Hungary told bbj.hu
