Magyar Posta Takarék Real Estate Investment Fund, managed by Gránit Asset Management, has acquired the second Equilibrium office building in Bucharest, further expanding its Central and Eastern European real estate portfolio.
Completed in Q4 2022, Equilibrium 2 offers close to 20,000 square metres of premium office space, spread across 11 floors. The building also features approximately 3,500 square metres of accessible green areas, designed for tenants and the surrounding community, aligning with growing ESG and sustainability expectations among institutional investors.
With an occupancy rate approaching 50%, the property already hosts a diversified tenant mix, including international corporations such as Henkel and Sanofi, alongside strong local players like Eximprod Grup and Intero Properties.
MPTIA is one of Hungary’s largest public real estate investment funds, bringing together more than 40,000 investors. The fund already owns properties in Budapest, Bucharest, Belgrade, Vienna and Bratislava.
