Online grocery retailer Kifli.hu delivered its strongest financial performance to date in the fiscal year ended April 30, 2026, reporting double-digit growth across every major business metric.

Orders increased by 27% year-over-year, while net sales revenue rose 25%, marking its highest annual sales and order volume since launching operations. Active customers expanded by more than 37%, approaching 200,000, while the number of newly acquired customers surged nearly 76% compared with the previous financial year.

Kifli.hu’s performance continues a multi-year growth trajectory, with net sales increasing almost fivefold over the past five fiscal years. Every month during the fiscal year outperformed the corresponding month a year earlier in terms of order volume.

Record month this year

March 2026 became the strongest month in the company’s history, generating 316,000 orders, the highest monthly total ever recorded by Kifli.hu. Customers placed an average of 16 to 17 orders annually.

Despite rising order volumes, the average basket value remained stable at HUF 26,000. Fresh food categories remained among the fastest-growing segments, with vegetables and fruits, chilled and frozen products, and baby and children’s products recording particularly strong demand compared with the previous fiscal year.

Logistics expansion supports nationwide growth

Kifli.hu increased its courier capacity by nearly 20%, enabling contracted delivery partners to maintain service quality despite higher volumes. According to the company, almost 95% of deliveries continue to arrive within the promised delivery window.

A key milestone came in November 2025, when Kifli.hu opened its second logistics center in Biatorbágy, substantially increasing operational capacity and enabling the retailer to expand its delivery network from 97 settlements to 322. As a result, the company now reaches nearly one-third of Hungary’s population.

In early July, Kifli.hu completed full year-round coverage of the Lake Balaton region by extending deliveries to the lake’s western and northern settlements, making its service available throughout one of Hungary’s most important tourism and residential areas.
