Grifid Hotels is carving out a premium niche on Bulgaria’s Golden Sands resort strip, betting on ultra all-inclusive packages, spa services and specialized hotel concepts to attract families, couples and wellness-focused travelers.

The group’s portfolio includes family-friendly hotels, adults-only properties, swim-up rooms, themed restaurants and in-house patisseries. That mix is designed to appeal to very different types of guests while keeping the brand tied to the premium end of the Bulgarian seaside market.

Wellness as a differentiator

One of Grifid’s most distinctive assets is Grifid Encanto Beach, a four-star hotel with a dedicated medical and spa center featuring 32 treatment rooms. The offer goes far beyond a standard wellness area, including recovery treatments, detox programs, electrotherapy and mud therapies.

Adults-only demand is rising

The adults-only segment is another important part of the story. At Grifid Metropol, the focus is on a quieter, more exclusive atmosphere, supported by a sky bar, infinity pool, fusion restaurant and yoga or pilates sessions.

The flagship arrival

The crown jewel of the group is the new five-star Grifid Noa. The property spans 12 floors and includes an infinity pool on the top floor, conference rooms, a children’s pool, private beach access, a bar, an à la carte restaurant and a dedicated spa.

Grifid is also investing in upgrades. Hotel Arabella, one of the group’s existing assets, has been fully renovated with a new Mediterranean-style façade, refreshed public areas and a redesigned reception.

Food as part of the experience

Culinary variety is another key pillar. Through its Dine Around and Drink Around programs, guests can rotate across multiple restaurants and bars during their stay, including à la carte and themed dining options.

Over the past 25 years, the company founded by Bulgarian entrepreneur Grigor Fidanov has hosted more than 1.5 million guests and employed more than 2,200 people at peak season, including 380 permanent staff. Its strongest markets are Germany, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, the UK and Bulgaria, plus other Central and Eastern European countries.
